Justin spent part of his early childhood in Thailand on the mission field before coming to Nampa, Idaho where his younger sister was born. God, culture, and service has always been a major focal point in his family, and from an early age he knew that he wanted to be a missionary. Justin heard the call to missions most clearly in Junior High while touring a destroyed Buddhist temple. It was in that place, that God pressed on his heart that he was to go and share the good news of a Savior that could not be destroyed and who loved them. Thinking that pastors were the only form of missionaries, that was always the plan, however God had another plan. In his senior year of high-school, he took introduction to christian ministries which helped him to continue to help develop his faith, but also confirmed that becoming a vocational pastor was not the direction God wanted. Missions was still in the plan, however in a different capacity… Justin is very excited to be working as a web developer for Extreme Nazarene as well as general Information Technology Support.

Krista spent her childhood in the small town of Jackson, California with her three brothers and parents Doug and Kari Webster. From an early age, Krista felt a calling to be a missionary. This calling was fostered by multiple relationships and mentors at Community Christian School and Sutter Creek Church of the Nazarene. In realization of this call, Krista gained a Bachelor’s degree in the Science of Nursing in order to help her fulfill this calling that God had placed on her heart. She is looking forward to using it in her new role as the Medical/Well-Being Coordinator with Extreme Nazarene.

Justin and Krista met in college at Northwest Nazarene University where Justin was studying business administration/management and Krista was studying to become a nurse. By their senior year, they were married on May 21, 2011 (the day that the world was suppose to end). After graduation, Justin and Krista packed up their bags and moved to Houston, Texas.

Since moving, Justin has worked in technology/sales for a print company and Krista has been working as a nurse on the neuro-sciences unit. Since early on in our relationship, Justin and Krista have talked about the mission field and have both felt a calling since they were children. For the past year they have been searching for the right opportunity. In the middle of that search, it became apparent that this opportunity with Extreme Nazarene was exactly where God wanted them. They are now happy to be answering that calling and going to Quito, Ecuador. They are excited to use their skills and experience to further the kingdom with Extreme Nazarene.
